About
I am an aspiring environmental policy and data analyst based in Brooklyn. I work in the New York State Office of the Attorney General's Real Estate Finance Bureau, where I review filings made under New York State's Martin Act.
Before joining the OAG, I worked as a research and constituent services intern in the office of New York State Assemblymember Micah Lasher, where I researched environmental and clean energy legislation, and as a Sustainability Solutions Fellow at the Tufts University Office of Sustainability, where I tracked and analyzed Medford's Climate Action and Adaptation Plan. I hold a B.A. in Applied Environmental Studies from Tufts University, cum laude, and am OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour certified.
My technical work centers on geospatial analysis (ArcGIS Pro), quantitative analysis in R, and methodical environmental and regulatory document review. A selection of my projects is below.
Skills & Tools
Geospatial analysis: ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, spatial data management, environmental resource mapping, field data collection (GPS), QA/QC
Quantitative analysis: R (data wrangling, visualization, statistical analysis), Microsoft Excel (power queries, pivot tables, advanced formulas)
Policy and regulatory: Statutory and regulatory document review, legislative research, policy and technical writing
Tools: Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat, Canva, CRM databases
Certifications: OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (Issuer: SafetyUnlimited)
Projects
U.S. Energy Portfolio Analysis

Tools: R, dplyr, ggplot2, statistical analysis
Cleaned and merged a dataset of approximately 12,800 U.S. power plants with Yale Climate Opinion Maps survey data to analyze the relationship between state-level generation portfolios and public attitudes toward energy policy. Built reproducible R scripts for data wrangling, visualization, and summary statistics.
NY Community Solar Project Finance Model

Tools: Excel (Goal Seek, PMT, IRR functions), NREL and NYSERDA data
Built a financial model of a hypothetical 5 MW New York community solar project, estimating construction cost from NREL benchmarks and projecting 25 years of cash flow under the state's VDER structure. Sized the supportable debt to a 1.30x coverage constraint and tested how equity returns hold up as revenue varies.
NYC Transit, Trees, and Poverty (GIS)

Tools: ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, U.S. Census, MTA, NYC Open Data
A spatial analysis of subway access, tree canopy coverage, and census-tract poverty levels across the five boroughs. Integrated MTA, NYC Open Data, and U.S. Census datasets, ran proximity and overlay analyses, and produced choropleth maps documenting neighborhood-level disparities.
Oil Pollution Act of 1990: History, Content, and Implementation
Tools: Statutory analysis, regulatory research
Examined the legislative history, statutory framework, and implementation record of the Oil Pollution Act of 1990, with attention to its provisions on spill response, financial responsibility, and natural resource damage assessment.
MAPLE Act Policy Brief
Tools: Legislative analysis, economic impact assessment
A policy brief on the MAPLE Act, proposed federal legislation to include maple syrup in the Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program. The brief examined senior food insecurity trends and the legislation's projected impact on both vulnerable populations and regional agricultural economies.
